On May 21st, our national zoom will hear from members of VFP including the new Executive Director Will Hopkins, the previous (as opposed to old) Executive Director Mike Ferner, Josh Shurley Vice President, Doug Rawlings, Harvey Bennett, Mike Marceau, Kelly Wadsworth, Jackson Shepard, David Cooley, and maybe YOU.
Each of the guests will give us a quick take (5 minutes) on Memorial Day and then we will open it up to those who want to share their thoughts on Memorial day for 5 minutes or less (to get as many as possible).
We want to record this and post it to YouTube and Rumble to provide the public with Veterans’ views of Memorial Day. We also want to see if there are ways we can actually get back to the mission of Memorial Day as an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.
