You can post any pro-peace/anti-war event that you are organizing, or that you are aware of, happening anywhere on earth. You can also post multi-issue coalition events that promote peace and oppose war. Please DO NOT post: events unrelated to peace and war, events that are supportive of war, events that tolerate any form of violence, or any events related to partisan politics or electoral organizing, such as endorsing or opposing candidates for public office. The current coalition government is talking about involving New Zealand in AUKUS – a triliteral security pact between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The webinar will explain the foundations of AUKUS and expand on what it would mean for Aotearoa’s security to join a de facto nuclear alliance opposing China and the Pacific.
Catherine Delahunty will be the facilitator of the webinar alongside speakers Marco de Jong, Rhieve Grey and Nicky Hager.
