In the Spirit of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we are once again commemorating the anniversary of his “Breaking the Silence” speech from April 4, 1967. This year the National Council of Elders (NCOE) is excited be taking part in an inter-generational live webinar from Philadelphia that Reverend Donna Jones–an NCOE member and the leading force behind the Restorative Cities Initiative (RCI) in Philadelphia is coordinating with young activists. The webinar is at the beginning of a weekend gathering that will connect youth and elders engaged in healing justice and global solidarity work.
