War Abolition Walk

Our World BEYOND War chapter has held more than 25 walks since April 2022 to call for a ceasefire and negotiations in Ukraine, and an end to the organized mass murder that is war. Join us this Sunday to walk at a moderate pace with us for all or part of our 1.7 mile route.
3:15 – 3:30 – Gather at the Great Turning Catholic Worker Farm, 1405 Lucy Lane (You can park on the street). Opening circle with Catholic Worker Justin Novotney and his sons.
3:45 – War Abolition Walk begins.
4:15 – Banner at the corner of Whitney Way and Raymond Rd (Northwest corner of the intersection; you can park in the strip mall lot).
4:45 – Walk arrives at Madison Mennonite Church, 1501 Gilbert Road. Closing circle with Mennonites Janice and Mark Bauman.
5:00 – Madison Mennonite Church service begins; all are welcome to attend. (We can help with rides back to your car.)
