In alliance with the Quaker Meeting in Charlottesville, CCPJ is co-sponsoring a vigil for peace in the Middle East to center efforts during the new year. The vigil will take place on the downtown mall from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Saturday, January 11th.
Plans for this public event include songs of peace and other participatory activities. There will be tables offering information about initiatives for peace from the Friends Committee on National Legislation in Washington. Look for CCPJ buttons and stickers too.
