The Fund for Reconciliation and Development is working with the Viet Nam-USA Society in Ha Noi to organize a unique visit for this memorable time.
We will engage with Viet Nam’s long and more recent history, culture, cuisine and rapidly modernizing economy. We will join in the April 30 ceremonies in Ho Chi Minh City for the half century anniversary of peace and reunification. We also will engage with the burdens of war legacies and be alerted to new threats to sovereignty and peace in the South China / East Sea. There are optional extensions available to Cambodia and Laos.

UPDATES We have added a visit to Con Dao (Con Son) Island to view the infamous tiger cages and potentially participate in sea turtle protection.
The estimated domestic cost for sharing a room is $2,500 each including breakfasts. A single room is $3,000. Lunches and most dinners are on our own.
