“Asking Hard Questions About the Ukraine War: Origins, Current Status & Possible Conclusions”
Speaker: Lyle Goldstein, PhD
Lyle Goldstein is a Senior Fellow at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University where he is investigating the costs of great power competition with Russia and China in association with the Costs of War Project. In addition, he is the Director of Asia Engagement at the think-tank Defense Priorities which advocates restraint in US defense policy. Fluent in both Russian and Chinese, he is author of several articles on the Ukraine war. Dr. Goldstein’s soon to be published 8th book explores the role of the Ukraine war in Russia-China relations.
