Hundreds of beautiful Floating Lanterns on the pond at Olympic Plaza downtown will make visual many Calgarians’ shared wish for a peaceful world free from nuclear weapons. The Calgary Floating Lantern Peace Ceremony will include a Kid Zone where children have fun and learn about building peace, and inspirational speakers who dedicate themselves to create a culture of peace and to uphold human rights.
