Join us to push back on China warmongering at this kickoff event on April 17th from 12-3 pm, with lunch provided by PBC.

During the NSSR’s session on legislative priorities, pushing back on China warmongering rose to the top as an issue to work on this year.

We will have presentations from POGO’s Dan Grazier on the military dimension of threat inflation and how it’s being used to inflate the already-bloated Pentagon budget and the Asia Society’s Rorry Daniels on the state of the U.S.-China relationship, resolving differences on Taiwan, and finding ways to promote cooperation rather than confrontation. Toby Chow has been invited to speak on fear mongering on China and how it fuels anti-Asian hate as well as political attacks on analysts pushing a more sensible China policy.
After the presentations, we will move to a brainstorming session to outline collective tactics, identify areas of collaboration, and determine achievable goals.
