Also, RootsAction Education Fund held several online webinars and workshops featuring experts in the fields of non-proliferation and disarmament, as well as faith leaders who are actively organizing against ongoing wars. These events focused on such topics as the dangers of nuclear war and op-ed writing to help participants effectively communicate their perspectives on critical issues. Here are a variety of initiatives planned, which include:
- Proclamations: Activists are approaching city councils, county commissions, and other local governmental bodies, urging them to proclaim Daniel Ellsberg Week 2024 (sample wording available).

Publications: Participants will write letters to the editor or op-eds to raise awareness and drive public discourse on nuclear disarmament.

Vigils and Picket Lines: Vigils in local communities, picket lines at relevant corporate/military sites, and at local offices of U.S. Senators or Members of Congress.

Resolutions: Drafting and passing resolutions affirming the need to eliminate land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs).

Educational Activities: Hosting seminars and workshops on nuclear weapons, their social/environmental impacts, and the work of Daniel Ellsberg and other whistleblowers.
