As the risk of a region-wide war in the Middle East continues to grow, it’s crucial to assess the role of economic warfare in shaping the current landscape and its implications for future U.S. policy. This Thursday, February 8th at 5:30 pm, SAIS Rethinking Iran invites you to an exclusive in-person event for the highly anticipated book, How Sanctions Work: Iran and the Impact of Economic Warfare by Narges Bajoghli, Vali Nasr, Djavad Salehi-Isfahani, and Ali Vaez.

The event will feature authors and Rethinking Iran Co-directors Narges Bajoghli and Vali Nasr, with moderation by The Washington Post’s Ishaan Tharoor.
