Every year on June 23, on Memorial Day in Okinawa, people gather around the “Cornerstone of Peace,” remembering the perished during the Battle military personnel and civilians, regardless of their place of origin or nationality – think of the lives lost and pray for peace on the earth.
Please join in honoring Okinawa’s spirit of Nuchi du Takara (All life is precious) and pledge for peace.
