World BEYOND War (WBW) Gambia is pleased to announce an upcoming Multi-Stakeholder Community Dialogue on Disarmament and Peace about how communities can strengthen their safety by addressing the proliferation of small arms and promoting nonviolent approaches to conflict.
*🎯 Our Goal*: To strengthen community engagement, raise awareness about small arms and light weapons, and encourage collective action towards a safer, more peaceful society.
It will bring together 30 youth association leaders, organizers, civil society representatives. The dialogue will explore how the illicit arms trade fuels community conflicts, while participants identify local strategies for violence prevention, community safety, and grassroots action for demilitarization.
