A World of Nonviolent Solutions Is On Its Way
For 13 years, Campaign Nonviolence has mobilized people to build a culture of peace and active nonviolence, free from war, poverty, racism, and environmental destruction.
In a recent email from Pace e Bene/ Campaign Nonviolence, they challenge us to
imagine a world of nonviolent solutions, and state that in fact, it’s already on its way!
“Every single day, Rivera Sun has been sharing programs, policies, and practices that
prevent violence, heal harms, and reduce destruction, with a special focus on alternatives to systemic and structural violence—the laws and institutions that embed harmful practices into a society’s way of life. “
In her book “Winds of Change,” Rivera Sun writes about a living democracy, a revolution that is only a heartbeat away . . . The revolution would be a revolution of the heart, a remembering of ancient truths, a coming full circle for humanity, a healing from the millennia-long sickness of the soul, a return home to our one-and-only planet, a reunion brotherhood and sisterhood with each other and the Earth.
